At South Shore Hospital, your health matters to us. We try
to provide the least invasive diagnostic and treatment options.
Our Pre-Admission Testing Department staff are here to help.
They will schedule an appointment that is convenient for you
and arrange for the medical tests or procedures your physician
orders to be done at that time.
The Admitting staff understand your health concerns while
being admitted or registering for outpatient tests of surgery.
We're dedicated to making this process as quick and efficient
as possible for you. Our staff will help you prepare, keep
you informed and put you at ease.
The Admitting Department never closes. They handle all non-emergency
and emergency admissions to the hospital.
On the day of your PAT appointment, please arrive on time
and bring your personal identification, your physician's authorization
or directions for tests or surgery, the HMO referral form,
and your insurance, HMO, Medicaid, or Medicare card.

Free Parking is conveniently provided in Security patrolled
parking lots south of the hospital off Crandon Avenue between
80th and 81st St.
