JOB TITLE: TELEMETRY TECHNICIAN

DEPARTMENT: 3-EAST
SHIFT: PART-TIME(32HRS ROTATING SHIFTS)
QUALIFICATIONS:  CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE CERTIFICATION, EKG INTERPRETATION CERTIFICATE, CPR/BLS CERTIFICATION, TELEMETRY MONITORING EXPERIENCE.
DUTIES:  MAINTAINS CLOSE OBSERVATION OF THE ELECTROCARDIOGRAPH PATTERNS OF UP TO 32 MONITORED PATIENTS.  BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF DYSRHYTHMIA INTERPRETATION AND UTILIZES EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION WITH TELEMETRY UNIT PERSONNEL AND TEAM MEMBERS.
JOB TITLE: NURSE MANAGER OF CRITICAL CARE
DEPARTMENT: ICU/TELEMETRY UNITS
SHIFT: FULL TIMEQUALIFICATIONS: CURRENT ILLINOIS STATE LICENSURE, BSN REQUIRED, FIVE(5) YEARS OF RELEVANT PROGRESSIVE NURSING EXPERIENCE INCLUDING EXPERIENCE IN NURSING MANAGEMENT.
DUTIES:  RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CLINICAL DISCIPLINES IN THE DELIVERY OF PATIENT CARE SERVICES, PARTICIPATES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HOSPITAL WIDE PATIENT CARE PROGRAMS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES THAT GOVERN ALL ASPECTS OF PATIENT CARE.  RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING OF BUDGET, RESOURCE ALLOCATION, OPERATING PLANS AND POLICIES.  ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA COLLECTION AND ITS ANALYSIS, RESTRUCTURING PROCESSES AS NECESSARY TO CONTINUALLY IMPROVE PERFORMANCE.

SHIFT: FULL-TIME(7PM-7AM)QUALIFICATIONS: GRADUATE OF AN APPROVED SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL NURSING. CURRENT IL. RN LICENSE. 1 YEAR HOSPITAL ICU EXPERIENCE. ACLS/CPR CERTIFIED REQUIRED.DUTIES: RESPONSIBLE FOR TOTAL NURSING CARE OF THE ICU PATIENT. SUCH RESPONSIBILITY IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH DIRECT CARE DELIVERY BY THE PROFESSIONAL NURSE. THE SPECIFIC CARE TO THE PATIENT IS DEFINED THROUGH NURSING DIAGNOSIS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PLAN OF CARE. THE NURSING PROCESS OF ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION SERVE AS THE FRAMEWORK FOR PROFESSIONAL NURSING PRACTICE. THE RN PROVIDES CARE FOR PATIENTS FROM ADOLESCENTS THROUGH THE LIFESPAN.
